Design
Plus
- Looks smart with a nice, refined polycarbonate shell, and also feels quite nice in your hands
- Nokia also offers swappable Xpress-on covers (at an extra cost) to add some colour to the phone
- Has a handy, dedicated Google Assistant button
Minus
While it looks smart, it lacks the oomph and the style of the Realme C2, one of its primary competitors
Software
Android One guarantees latest software updates, and a pure-play Android experience
Performance
Average performance from a low-end Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 processor - there is a significant lag while loading apps or even firing up the camera - competing devices like the Xiaomi Redmi 7 have a clear edge on this front
Camera
Plus
Decent 13MP rear cam, and 5MP selfie cam - you will get reasonably good results (for the price bracket) in daylight conditions
Minus
- Lowlight results are average though, from both cameras
- While the overall camera performance is decent for the price, it is again left behind by the dual camera setups on the Realme C2 and the Redmi 7
Battery
Good battery life with a 3000 mAh battery, that will comfortably last you the day
Conclusion
If you are not concerned with speed and are seeking an unadulterated Android experience on a tight budget, then the Nokia 2.2 might work for you, but for most users, they will be better off looking at the Redmi 7 or Realme C2 instead
